GuardHome's automation systems enable you to gain greater control, with less effort, of your home or business environment.
In its simplest form, automation can provide remotely controlled lighting systems, so that the keyfob control that turns off the alarm also, at night, turns on the lights. Going a step further, automated garage doors or electric gates can be operated at the same time from the same control.
One of the most popular uses of automated systems is “simulated occupancy”. The Guardhome system has a built in scheduler where lights and other mains-powered appliances can be switched on and off at different times of the day and night, so that your house never appears empty. The system can control up to 840 separate switching actions, all from the control panel. Better still, GuardHome can remotely program the switching times on your behalf.
Any device connected through the mains supply can be automatically managed, and the same technology can be applied within the office. Whilst lighting is the obvious example, automation could be applied to ensure that all electronic equipment is switched off at the end of the day – providing energy and money saving benefits.
